Rare Species Of Millipede Thought To Be Extinct Makes Reappearance

The animal that has the most number of legs (Nearly1,000 legs) of any animal on the planet, thought to be extinct has made a comeback. This is the millipede Illacme plenipes. The species had not been seen since it was first spotted in a biodiversity hotspot in California in 1926.
